Road / Hybrid biking / ebike
Hybrid biking: We start biking at the monument in Riofrio and continue along the plateau of the mountain to another royal palace, the Palacio Real de la Granja de San Ildefonso, and we continue pedaling on small, country roads all the way into the city of Segovia where we will have the opportunity to try out some of the local cuisine for lunch and explore the city’s main historical sights before a private transfer back to Madrid at the end of the day.
Road Cycling: We’ll drive to the top of the Morcuera Pass, ride down and through the beautiful Lozoya Valley, then go to Lozoya, along the valley and start to climb the Navafría Pass. From here we ride along the northern flank of the Guadarrama Mountains, to the town of Pedraza – a perfectly preserved medieval town, complete with castle. Free time to see the roman aqueduct and Segovia’s Cathedral and Alcázar.
